Kosovo Census 2024, around 30 interpreters a day

A field report, in pictures and numbers, on one of the largest coordinated interpreting deployments Trankos has run.

Interpreters supporting a multilingual event in Kosovo

For around thirty days, Trankos fielded roughly thirty interpreters a day, sustained, regional, and time-critical.

A census is unforgiving. The work is distributed across the region, it runs on a fixed calendar, and the language coverage has to be complete every single day. There is no room to be short-staffed on a Tuesday.

Coordination at scale

Sustaining that number of interpreters across multiple locations is less about any single assignment and more about logistics: scheduling, coverage for the core pairs, and a reliable bench for the days when demand spikes.

Institutional clients remember whether you were there on the hard days.

That reliability is the point. For programmes that cannot pause, the value of a regional partner is knowing the language layer will simply be there, correct and on time, for the full duration.
